So my opinion on all of this (as a person of colour) is that I do not care. In the fact that most AI models have bias towards white males a slip up of generating variety in image gen is fine. Should it really go through all of human history to generate perfectly historically accurate images... ever? I don't think so.
Users should have to be specific as to what they want, the less specific the more random. Sure, in specific cases we can nit pick. But giving the user more control is usually a good thing no?
