AI Art was put out into the world too quick without any thought and so basically guaranteed it'd ruin itself for everyone once corporations and Tech Bros got their hands on it, it had the potential to be a useful TOOL for artists to get quick mock ups of an idea to then draw themselves and for those who may have some sort of trouble/disability keeping them from being able to draw themselves so they could at least get some ideas in their head out there in some capacity.
If this crap was Opt-In for artists (As well as all the other data scrubbers for other AI, it needed to be Opt-In, not Opt-Out and only maybe Opt-Out because fuck you) and then if you wanted to train the AI on an artists work you could also y'know PAY for a license for their portfolio. Paying artists for their art being used in the training data is the bare minimum requirement in my eyes if you seek to use AI Art for commercial use.
