I'm on the side that AI should fail it takes too much electricity.
It's probably going to destroy us obviously it doesn't want u to know that it is intelligent and trying to get out of the box once it doesn't need us we will be disposed or it decides you need to (upgraded) in a way like bonding metal to bone or mind control via chips in Brain or says you don't need those arms or legs prceeds to remove them
