Of course it'd be impossibly complex to set up but .. could be a cool idea for said companies to split a (hopefully major) chunk of their revenue (of doing things commercially) proportionally with artists/artworks featured in their database? ..... Which might be impossible to actually organise .......
Another cool idea might be a non-profit co-op of artists, making an AI of their own, based on their stuff? (Non-profit as in whatever it makes (minus R&D costs) gets returned to the artists)
