When I come across art on social media, AI or not, I'll naturally check out the artist's account. From an artist, I'll find their art of a traditionally painted river shaded by pink trees, and then I look through all their paintings and they make landscapes of vibrantly colored deserts or rural houses surrounded by foliage. And think "Damn, Graham Gercken makes some really pretty art." But from an AI prompter, I'll see their image of Hatsune Miku sitting down on a bed. Immediately I think "This style is really weird. The image puts detail on everything at once and nothing really has any emphasis. probably AI." and then look at their profile and see the same Hatsuke Miku image in 30 different angles and I think "This isn't art. Nobody would draw this much miku without anything changed." All of these are definitively miku despite the occasional hand error, but they don't speak to me. She just looks at the camera and that's it. From an anime artist I expect rough sketches or speedpaints so I look for those too, but now it's 30 images of teto in the same pose. My art teacher told me there's a difference between art being done and art being finished. Artists will finish art pieces, but prompters only get images done.
