Imo AI art is TOO detailed. I’m not a big fan of highly detailed art — a lot of the AI art I’ve seen just has too much going on, and it’s overwhelming. I don’t find it pretty to look at (no hate to anyone with a similar style, this is personal taste). It’s like AI can only do something very simple or very detailed with no in between and I HATE that
Also for some reason it just looks so soulless, especially people. I see so much life behind the eyes when people draw them, but no matter now dynamic the shading is, when it comes to AI art it all just looks flat
I used to be real worried but I’m sure AI art is going to go the way of NFTs in a few years. There will still be AI bros in niche corners of the internet who praise it, but it’s not going to stand the test of time.
