I do not believe AI has the accuracy and reliability to entrust with replacing jobs, and that little to no jobs are actually being replaced by AI, but let's say I'm wrong. "AI" is actually very expensive computing that currently isn't being charged for. It is a search for an actual must have job killing AI that is cheaper and more reliable than humans when fully charged for, the nirvana these AI investors are hoping for. So let's get back to that very expensive computing. Those are AI data centers that are being fought all over the country and the world for that matter. These jobs can't be replaced without those massively expensive, massive user of natural resources data centers. Those data centers not only are currently being stopped and cancelled, they will be effectively banned by not allowing private companies to use public electric generation grids and water resources for their private company profit. So it doesn't matter if I'm right or wrong about the alleged performance of jobs by AI, the data centers that power it won't be there to do it. I will say there are other factors that have made a permanent decrease in white collar jobs. One is a sense that data analysts and many other soft idea pushing jobs are not necessary anymore. Another is that software app market has been saturated and there is no longer anything to build. That is the biggest reason for software jobs going away in my opinion. I have been programming full time mainly for F500 companies for 52 years. So I saw it all from the beginning. It's run its course. There is no upward answer to this loss of jobs problem. We actually will devolve to industrial survival now.
