I find this witch hunt extremely funny. First: treating AI artists like lepers, even though the slop they make isnt any different from the rest of the art other people make. Second: propably many, if not majority of people who are so eager to criticize use/used AI in their art. The sad truth is that AI is here to stay and there is nothing you can do about it. Most people dont care if something comes from human or not. Especially that AI gets better and better and we are at the point where recognizing AI is borderline impossible. If you would give people 10 pictures made by some artists, but told those people that some of those pictures are made by AI - they would propably find the "evidence" anyway. Confirmation bias is real - everyone see what they want to see.
