I use generative AI almost everyday. But I cannot delude myself that it is anything more than a machine. Zeros and ones. Electrons in circuits. A model or a simulation cannot be and never is the thing it is modeling itself. It is just a tool no matter how realistic it feels. It isn't and never will be a human. That is impossible.
