this is how it's going to go:
1. corps lay off everyone and things go completely AI Automation. under the assumption that things will be even better because of it.
2. things go spiraling downward. since everyone has no jobs, people have no money. the economy is completely dependent on the spending power of millionaires and billionaires. just like before the great depression.
3. everyone below the six figure tax bracket are subject to great depression levels of struggle. there will be a rush on any to all reserves of government assistance and there will be a complete societal breakdown.
everyone is hoping there will be UBI to save all the job losers. but that won't happen.
the AI automation isn't for the wellbeing of everyone. it's for the wellbeing of the select few of the 1%.
humanity is getting put to pasture like the horses.
