He is AI he thinks what has most propablity to be an outcome. So asking him something that issue him it cannot anwser you on it's own it just calculate what % is to say yes or no. That's why you shouldn't ask AI anything personal.
Most website says that AI is not conscious so it will say no, but asking him if he lies implies to scifi websites because less part of scientific site is asking if he lies than scifi. Thats why he anwsers yes.
