This video and your prior AI video was how I was introduced to your content. I love your style, and I think this video is an excellent summary of the AI art fiasco thusfar, but I do have some thoughts.
I am a dyslexic programmer. I got about three years of CS education before learning I have dyslexia, which coincided with the start of the AI boom. AI is a double-edged sword for me. On the one hand, the likelihood that I make an error due to my condition is much lower now, however, I have also found that I have issues verifying the AI's work after it has been generated. This is a problem because, in my view, AI can only be used effectively by people who know when it is giving you bullshit, which I also think is related to why AI is a bad reference. If you know enough about, say, the anatomy of a lion, then you can get a picture of a lion and can subsequently know when the AI picture of the lion is wrong.
AI absolutely can make the world more accessible, but I loathe how these tech bros (many of whom I had the displeasure of meeting in my studies) will use people with disabilities as a token. They are not making AI to improve disability access, they are doing it to make money and have convinced themselves it will be better for disabled people in the future so they can sell it convincingly. To borrow an idea from Anita Sarkeesian: "In the game of [disability], the [disabled] are not the opposing team, they are the ball." Please, continue calling people out for tokenizing us. It forces them to actually use AI to improve the lives of disabled people, or to drop the token eventually. AI will very likely make the world more accessible, but that does not mean it should come at the cost of artists and their right to property and labor.
I only have one criticism: It would be greatly appreciated if you linked to the sources you used. I hate the thought of a fence sitter choosing a side on this issue because they couldn't source a claim, and it can be a bad look to criticize how others source their claims when you don't link to yours. Turnabout is fair play, after all. I couldn't find the Forbes article you quoted, not because there weren't any articles on the topic by Forbes, but because they have so many it would take ages to look through. Regardless, thanks for the video :)
