As we rely more on AI, less human education will be necessary. Even if not the case, the old adage "use it or lose it" will occur since AI will be doing all the heavy lifting. The pitfall would become apparent after a cataclysmic event, after humans have been reduced to reliant AI consumers. Preserving your original real-life print books, maps and photo might not be a bad idea since AI can easily be programmed to edit, alter, eliminate or prevent future access to the digital copies and will only be as honest as its owner.
