Autonomous driving makes people want to trust the system. The transition period is the most dangerous, as we don´t quite know, what to do with the new tech. If possible, the tech should be made to work in given parameters first and used only thus. As it learns to handle more tricky situations, its abilities and use could be expanded. The more there is fun and playing involved, the less safe it is. Not to say that was the case here. The difference between headlines and actual story is once again striking.
