AI without humans would be the death of AI within a year. It would take perhaps that long for all the power plants to fail. Although I think it would actually take only days. How will the data centres be maintained and upgraded? How will the communication networks be maintained and upgraded? What happens when a landslide takes out a fibre route? What happens when weather knocks out power?
