The hard facts: LLMs are not intelligent, and the technology plateaued around GPT 3. After that they are only putting more hardware under it, going through more information while building the model - while that was really successful at first, now we see diminishing returns. The rest is an economy bubble where it doesn't even matter that it is about AI or beef or spaceships. The money flows in providing unbelievable returns, until it doesn't, when everyone suddenly wants their money back.
