I suggest artists to do a deeper reading on these AI technology to find out how it actually works. Then you'll understand it's not stealing, or copying, but actually learning. The entire StableDiffusion AI is only 10GB. That is not enough space to store the hundreds of millions of images it's learned from. It does require a powerful GPU so it can process the relationships between the data, much like how our brains work with established neuron pathways. If people can learn from looking at other artwork, so can computers.
What you're seeing is AI taking what it's learned to produce artwork as faithfully as it can in another artist's style therefore you think it's "copying". It's just as easy with a few lines of code to have the AI produce works with say, 50% influence from two artists each. Is that original enough?
