Making the copyright argument? Good lord. Ditch intellectual property bullshit, it's bad for everyone. The reason copyright is being subverted left, right and center is because it's been abused so often that we know we can't trust society at large to use it respectfully. Nobody wants ego-driven contract terms biting them in the ass when they use media. Stop thinking IP law is good for anyone.
With that outnof the way, machine learning isn't going to screw with working artists who adapt. The reality is that there is no "intelligence" in these ML algorithms whatsoever. One trick ponies expecting to ride on a handful of copyrighted images will get smacked around. The rest will be fine, especially anyone who is willing to learn 3D. This is such a tired issue, and this is the least intelligent set of arguments to make against ML that can be made.
