honestly both sides of this debate look like massive babies to me, anti ai people running around shouting and screaming while crying that ai is mass stealing and pro ai people shouting back and crying that they're just embracing tech
how about both sides stop? the war is so bloody annoying, if you don't like ai, don't use it. if you do like it, whatever.
end of the day you know what we wont do? anything about it. whens the last time the government did the ethical thing? ai will continue purely because corporations can do it cheaper than paying for artists. that's the end all be all. artists crying about ai will be ignored and tech bros embracing it will be at best used as a shield. it all ends up with corporations in control as it always has been.
will ai harm artist? absolutely, but im not so delusional to think i can do anything about it. but at the end of the day watching you lose your mind over ai really pushes me away from caring about your art. sorry.
