Cars are only used 3% of the time (97% parked). That's a big investment which rapidly depreciates. If you could easily and cheaply get a driverless cab (60% of the cost of a lorry is the driver) certainly second cars would soon disappear. You need cabs, buses and mini buses all driverless and cheap and it would work. You need trains and planes as well 😊
