who is designing the scope of AI research? , a bumch of alchemists. a small bunch.. They don't have a clue about how the foundationsl models actually work as intup output boxes.. (input big blob data corpus output "persuasion machine").
Bypassing that science seems fucked up to me.
The only AI I find scienced (A0 and say protein folding comes from a human designed ambiant space, well understaood, to explore the solutions from).
