Here's the problem with your video. You make much of your case using the inferior tech of companies like Cruise and Waymo and extrapolate your case as if these are the pinnacle of today's technology. They very definitely are not, and are unlikely to be the winners when autonomous driving becomes commonplace. This is because they rely on high-definition pre-defined maps which is not a scalable solution. So illustrating your case with the obvious example of Cruise running over people lying on the ground is not representative of the neural net based solutions which are much more likely to dominate the market in the short to medium term.
