Using AI-assisted coding, I was able to create a nice-looking SwiftUI app in just one day. It features complex SwiftUI animations along with AI-generated images and icons. Although the code is a bit messy, it works well, so I won't refactor it until it starts generating revenue. Without AI, it would have taken me months - learning the language and framework, setting up the environment, and managing source control. Who cares about clean architecture when you can rewrite everything in a day? The point is that programming skills can become obsolete, much like calculation, punch cards, or assembly language skills once were. Just as we no longer write database engines, device drivers, or graphics engines from scratch, the application layer is now so prompt-driven and abundant that no one really cares who writes it.
