Massive conflation here. It's a good thing to have robotics and AI carry out utilitarian functions better than humans can and designed for purpose. But to go to enormous lengths to create artificial living reflections and clones of humanity, sentient or not, is all about anthropocentrism, narcissism and egotism. Let's treat the vanity project aside.
