The "statistically most probable" approach make extremes, oddities, unconventionalities, surprises and game changing ideas dissapear. Its like art by comitee.
AI can produce basic beauty, and excells in supernormal stimuli, but it can't produce revolutionary beauty, it can't give you unespected insight, like human creation and even nature often do.
AI is inherently bland.
