This doesn't make any sense. Writers aren't complaining about ChatGPT nearly as much, yet it's trained on all kinds of books and data from the web. Programmers aren't complaining about Codex like artists are, which is trained on every piece of code on GitHub. Programmers are used to this concept called 'open-source', billions of dollars have been made off of React, which is free and was created by Facebook. Now art is open source, at some point we will be able to create our own models. Learn AI, learn how to prompt - it's the future. I put food on my table by being a programmer, I potentially see my job being taken over but in order for humanity to sift through the ridiculous amounts of data as we get closer to entropy, we are really going to need AI. Ikea makes wooden tables for 200 or you can pay for a custom table for 3000 dollars, same thing for art - human created art will become even more valuable.
