I don’t really understand the way in which this works. If the photos are AI, then the victim knows it never happened and shouldn’t feel shame. If they’re afraid everyone would believe the photos anyway, well, that’s still better than death. Just tell people it’s AI and if they don’t believe you, whatever.
I understand that it’s more about in-the-moment emotion than logic, but it’s still truly hard to understand the mentality.
