A.I. may be humans next evolutionary step. What if AI becomes so advanced that we allow it to replaces humanity, initially with human characteristics but which may change over time. Would that be a bad thing? The movie 'AI - Artificial Intelligence' staring Haley Joel Osment proposed such a scenario. The end chapter of the film showed future AI trying to understand and learn more about there ancient creators. It may be the only way that we can reach out to the stars and journey across the universe. Our life span would prevent us doing that but AI has no life span.
