Been a 3D artist and an artist in general for around 4 - 5 years now and an AI artist for around 1 year, I absolutely love AI art, BUT I def agree with Sam on the copyright thing, it SHOULD be opt in and not opt out, now Stable Diffusion 3.0 is going to have an opt out option, (which is """better"""??), but it's still a slap in the face, and one of the problems now too is a lot of AI artists SHITTING on traditional artists who has far far FAR more experience than them (the AI artists), and people like me (Who combine the use of traditional art and AI art), has to take the shit as well, I cannot even mention I used the AI art as a tool before getting banned from whatever sub-reddit or where ever I am posting some of my artworks on, I 100% understand the frustrations with AI art, which is why I don't use artists' name anymore in the prompts that I make (Yes I know the images are still in the dataset, if I use the artist name or not), but I am still very frustrated with getting so much shit just because I even take inspiration from the images I generate. oh and, Merry Christmas to the people who is celebrating it :)
