They have a point. When using color, that blur tool is way easier than doing it by hand. The physical medium the would do a similarly good job is chalk pastels imo. But they’re expensive and messy. I never harped on AI bc I remember what it felt like when a professional painter told me my digital art wasn’t real art, or when I went to a artist’s print shop and the woman there made me feel 2 feet tall because my art wasn’t their usual product.
