I feel sorry for anyone trying to learn how to code nowadays. Heck, I felt sorry for kids when computers stopped being a deep personal cave of wonders and turned into a media consumption device. Like learning a skill surrounded by other fun things to do constantly distracting.
If you are learning to program now, using AI, your being tutored by basically a parrot that lies and doesn't have the slightest idea what it is actually saying. If you don't already have a foundation, your going to learn many sub-optimal patterns and think they are the best!
