I think that in a few years, we'll be having this same conversation with blue collar workers, saying that robots are coming and those who can work with AI to delegate to robots will be valued more than blue collar workers who do not have the AI skills to delegate smaller tasks to robots. This includes electricians and plumbers and other skilled workers.
For dangerous jobs, this might also include skilled workers who can directly operate a robot in real time, like a robot jockey.
Eventually, even those jobs will be reduced as robots/AI gain new skills and abilities.
But, I could be wrong.
