There's terrible irony in Hatsune Miku fanart made with unethical AI... because Hatsune Miku, THE vocaloid mascot, is technically an AI singer made from sampling a specific singer... Its just that the singer was contracted and compensated.
So it would be super fitting if an artist made an AI solely modeled from their own work--which would ethically be like tracing your own work--and had their "AI clone" make fanart of Hatsune Miku. Sadly, theres no way to effectively prove they only used their own work, but honestly I think even if there was, such a piece shouldn't be monetized anyway.
