This guy clearly doesn't know anything about AI, just selling it. AI experts know perfectly well how it works. It's just pattern matching with a lot of computation. It's not intelligent or sentient. It matches prompts to the data it has ingested and generates authoritative sounding answers. See the comment below to understand the prompt used in this example. I'm so tired of hypsters and the media owned by the tech industry overselling and anthropomorphizing AI. All the theater is designed to sell vapor to naive investors and businesses and manipulate the public.
