In many years of experience on this planet I have witnessed a fundamental decline in the use of manners as social etiquette where today many don't even bother to display a notion of respect let alone care for people they do not know! If these same people can't even manage basic politeness in how they deal with others human beings? Why on earth do you think they are going to use politeness on an artificially intelligent 'non existent' life form? It's kind of ironic, that we can create and place such importance upon something as ethereal as AI yet still fail to understand the greater importance of how to treat one another!
