If you believe your mind and conciousness is reducible to a summation of inviolably programmatic decisions - by which all "AI" systems have to created - reacting to sensory and other informational data, then yes, this is easy to believe. Moreover, that such could be reproduced artifically without reproducing the dimensions of pain and pleasure by which the human will and its minutest decisions inherently operate.
