I'm 14 and have been drawing since before I could remember, and I started because my sister is an artist, so whatr do you do as a goblin child who stalks their sister and is impressed by their art so much that you started drawing? your obvious become a animatior because you did a really side quest and then just got the animator achivement 💀 But being real: I was inspired by my older sister, who was and still is an artist! but because *human* i started devopling my own style and doing my own thing, I make animation! and my style is cartoony with most of the time semi-thick/thick lines, because I'm my own person with my own expriensess I tend to be better right now at drawing animals because I use to be a furry, but I'm learning how to draw humans, I'm getting better at walk cycles! I want to learn how to still animate animals that i can't! (like horses) it makes me SICK, and PISSED OFF... seeing theese 'artists' calling themselve 'artists'. I started and stuck with it because I loved it, whenever i hated my art, my family supported it and I kept going, I did animations and rarley hated them because I didn't want it to be a job at first, I just did it because I found it fun "Mama, mama look I animated a cat waking up and eating!" i'd say showing my mom thinking it was the best thing ever on my tablet/phone using flipaclip. Theese people?... They either One: picked up a pencil deiced their art sucked, and turned to AI a\then got deffencive or Two: dicied that practice and trying wasnt worth the hasly and used AI... Either way, IT'S STUPID, AI didn't make art because it had a love for it, It didn't make art because it found it fun. It did it because its programmed to basically steal art... My advice: When your a kid its easier to get into art, because you think everything you make it good or atleast average, when your an adult/teen its harder, your busyer, you have work/school and when you get off of thoose you don't want to spend hours on a piece just to hate it, you wanna watch tv or sleep or play games I get it, but AI and stealing from artists is not a good way to join us artists/animators, your just gonna isolate yourself and get yourself on a blacklist or something, take 1-5 minutes, *NOT TO DRAW WHAT YOU THINK* when you think of what you want to draw you think BIG, but thats not the way to go your just gonna hate it!... take 1-5 minutes to learn anatomy or how perspictive work, introduce yourself to the pencial so to speak if your using one, IBIS paint is avilable on phone and is free! theres also an app called Sketchbook, which is free, highly reccomend both for begieners, again don't make something big cept' for a few cubes and circules and doodles till you know how to flow freely with your tool/program, basically: just practice some simply anatomy and perspectives, THEN you can start doing doodles/actual art pieces I reccoemend NOT to look up "how to draw" cause videos like that teach you how to draw in their artstyle, instead look up advice videos talking about perspective, what markers to use... anyway I'm going to bed.. loved your vid
