I dont like these arguments.
Not because I dont agree that this is theft it definetly is.
But I dont think this is really the part most artists care about its just the easiest part to critique.
I am 99% sure this is about this fucking with their job security, which is also not a good thing.
I would just prefer if they focused more on that aspect this discussion because that would make for more intresting discussions to listen to then "AI art is theft".
dont get me wrong I agree the way image generation ai is trained is in fact theft, BUT what you should ask if it none of it was stolen would you have been ok with all of this.
