Id rather robots piloted by men remotely from afar. Realistically speaking it would be safer than a fully autonomous ai that could potentially be manipulated or captured and replicated by an enemy force. Also it would help reassure the public to have a person for whom they can hold accountable for the robots actions rather than a corporate entity they cant put a face to.
