Regardless of the long term positive impact this could have, it’s nothing but naive wishful thinking. It’s not realistic to think it will naturally go down that road without the intervention of legislation or external committee to regulate the application and abuse of ai. Corporations and governments will value the results at the expense of the ethical process most of the time.
