The whole change DA did was just turning down the heat on the frying pan. They know turning it down a little will get their shills to gaslight those that left and try to change the narrative. If they don't care enough about the morality and ethics of using their art library to create an AI for a cheap means of revenue generation, their walking it back is just trying to make it look like they didn't have their hand in the cookie jar with a cookie in hand, then eating the cookie and saying they didn't take any cookie. Their change of behavior is performative, nothing more.
The only answer to this is to leave the platform because ultimately on the TOS they have set up "the right" to use the art they host however they like. No art, no site, no training material. No other options.
