I don't know why so many people think that AI art is here to replace artists, clearly it isn't. Art is something whose value comes from the fact it is made by humans. AI art is amazing, but in my opinion it is just a demonstration that we can make machines do human things. They don't do it better, but they do it. To me, a lot of the AI field is about "prove you can build something capable of this", not "make a machine to replace humans '
