Theres so many factors aside from just AI. There's also outsourcing to other countries where they can pay cheaper wages, and it's also these massive layoffs that occur, causing experienced workers to also go for entry level jobs just to get something quickly. The competition is extremely intense for entry level having to compete against all these factors that play against them.
