WOW! I haven't even finished yet but am already struck by how the AI's "apology" sounds EXACTLY like the type of fake "apology" I get from presumably flesh and blood human beings. Zero responsibility is taken by a LOT of people I know when they say they "apologize". This tends to arise whenever I ask pointed questions about something they did that harmed me. Immediately I am then cast as the bad one because I must have been mildly annoyed at their behavior since I didn't give a pass to their annoying or irresponsible behavior. Got this last week, and when I mentioned that the fake apology acknowledged no wrongdoing, the apologizer even gave me the same kind of rap that this AI did. I hadn't even asked for the damn apology in the first place.
