At the moment all those headlines miss one thing, it is entry jobs. Taking away possibilities to people graduating. For more capable these things are, they are not really autonomous. They need people to operate them anyway. Most people on these news cycles seem to think AI is already concious, which is not and not will be in the next years if ever, AI is not new, it has made significant advances in the lasts years but it isn't able to be really independent. for more the people in news and corporations keep hyping it, it isn't that much of a thing, except for creating fake information, which seems its major advance, and probably the ultimate goal of most in the power. Keep using your brain, is the only thing that will save you, stop being relying on chatbots for every miniscle thing on a daily basis. And ultimately, for more money tech bros and politician have, when the rest of us stop having the capacity to spend in a consumer based economy, everything will eventually collapse.
