A methane turbine is NOT putting toxic gasses into the neighborhood, it is putting ONLY CO2 and water vapor, MAYBE a very small amount of nitrogen oxides but not substantial, it's as clean as you can get as far as hydrocarbon fuels go, the hydrogen to carbon is the highest of any hydrocarbon.
