How the hell is a self driving truck going to fuel itself? How it it going to secure a load to a flatbed truck? How is an oversize load going to get through obstacles? When these trucks are mandated to be ALL electric, how much will it cost the taxpayer, who no longer has a job, as they are replaced by technology? Why would they? And, if the government wants a;; vehicles top be electric, then show us how by making all state, county, city fleet vehicles electric!!! Show US it can or can't be done by example. When a vehicle has the capacity to remain on scene and/or in FULL operation status for a standard 12 hour shift, without a recharge, in ANY weather condition, then I may believe it is possible. Until then I say no, but this is NOT the only reason. In a age where more people are out of work, reducing that availability of jobs is idiocy!!
