This is supposedly how AI will take over , but it does not prove anything more than that the foundation of our economy and politics is laughable.
When the intent is to maximise profit , AI will certainly do it better.
Just replace it with paperclip and you get Bostrom's paperclip AI
that produces paperclips better and faster and eventually destroys the universe.
Such foundations are brittle, lack philosophical depth , social and economic acuity.
They lack ethics and fail to understand the beauty of living one's life as a sentient being.
When profit or paperclip outweighs the value of sentient beings then it is when our mythical
subconscious horror stories about demonic influence and hell will come true.
