AI won't need to exterminate humans with bioweapons because they're "slowing it down", most of the earth isn't even inhabited by us so there's plenty of real estate for AI to build its own data centers at the expense of ecology & biomes and that's what we should actually be concerned with regardless of what goals it's set to work on. Does AI really need to care about GW ? is that as much a threat to its servers as it is to us ? it can just keep cooling its own hardware while constantly dumping the heat back to the surrounding 55+°C atmosphere. It doesn't need oxygen so trees and plants are disposable for it.
