ChatGPT is biased in several ways. First, is localization. It appears to be more censored in English than other languages. For instance, in portuguese it didn’t have much problem admitting that it makes sense for society to be organized as a traditional patriarchy, wilst in English it wouldn’t make "categoric statements" regarding this topic.
That said, it also appears to be biased towards you. In portuguese i noticed that it tried to agree with whatever I said as much as possible. In english not so much but more because of censorship.
I asked it to debate my christian monarchistic views. In English, it presuposed the convention mainstream views of european monarchy as being oppressive, while in portuguese it was more nuanced (likely because the brazilian republic was instituted through a violent coup against the Royal Family, and this republic has never worked ever since, thus giving more grounds for arguments against democracy and enlightenment ideas).
